Prudence Bansemer

About Me

Prudence’s life growing up in rural Victoria followed by 15+ years living, working and travelling overseas have largely informed her interest in social and environmental justice, and have led to her current undertaking of a Bachelor of International Studies at RMIT as well as Certificate IV in Photo Imaging at Photography Studies College.  These experiences have also inspired Prudence to use art as a tool to fight complacency, producing works which encourage questions and help to challenge the status quo.  Through her work she aims to capture images which explore the beauty of humanity, but also the harsh realities that our impact has on communities and the global environment.
